The IMS Division of the Omaha Public Schools is proud to announce Project Office 365 – the migration to Office 365 Pro for all OPS students and staff.

Office 365 is a set of products designed to be accessed through the Internet.~ Among those products, OPS will be implementing Outlook Web App (email and calendar), Lync (instant messaging), Yammer (internal social networking / basic [FC] conferencing), and OneDrive (online file storage).~

In addition to being able to use Office 365 Online while at work or in school, every current OPS staff member and every current OPS student will be eligible to download and install a personal version of Office 365 Pro on up to 5 personal devices (PCs, Macs, and/or mobile devices).

IMS is currently working with Microsoft on a detailed plan to transition the district into Office 365.  This plan will include a multi-tiered professional development strategy.

We will keep you updated throughout this process!  Information will be sent to you on a regular basis via several channels, including project and informational emails, as well as notes and podcasts.
